The National Center for Charitable Statistics (http://nccs.urban.org) — serves as the national repository of statistical information on the nation’s not-for-profit sector. Information is obtained from the Internal Revenue Service and other agencies.

The Newtithing Group (www.newtithing.org) — a not-for-profit philanthropic research organization committed to increasing charitable giving and personal fulfillment by providing online educational resources and planning tools.
