The Dayton Foundation Names Angela Clements Senior Development Officer

The Dayton Foundation announces the appointment of Angela Clements, C.P.A., as senior development officer.

Clements joined The Dayton Foundation in 2002 as the Legacy Partnership Program development officer. In this role, she helped Greater Dayton Region not-for-profit organizations help others by establishing endowment programs through The Dayton Foundation.

“I am pleased with Angela’s acceptance of this position,” says Foundation President, Michael M. Parks. “Her experience as a Legacy Partnership development officer made her the clear choice for this role. For the past six years, she has been helping organizations in our community build endowments with us to build a better Dayton. Now, she will be helping individuals perpetuate their own charitable legacies and sustain the causes they care about most.”

Before joining the Foundation, Clements was a consultant providing accounting, payroll, tax and training services. She previously served as fiscal manager for the Dayton Urban League and as an auditor for Battelle & Battelle LLP. A University of Cincinnati graduate, Clements is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Clements also is a member of Leadership Dayton Class of 2005.

Since 1921 The Dayton Foundation has been helping people help others in the Dayton community and beyond. The Dayton Foundation helps donors find the best and most tax-wise ways to achieve their charitable objectives, invests and manages donors’ charitable funds, and provides grants and leadership to grow philanthropy and help meet present and future community needs.
